Mr. Harshal Bhuta from our firm was invited to judge the preliminary rounds of the 4th National Online Moot Court Competition, 2020 conducted by Government Law College jointly with The Chamber of Tax Consultants. The Moot Proposition dealt with an interesting case on application of General Anti-Avoidance Rules contained under Income Tax Act, 1961. It was a humbling experience yet again for the second year of judging the competition with proficient and fiercely competitive teams participating from various colleges.

Mr. Harshal Bhuta from our firm was invited to judge the preliminary rounds of the 3rd Dr. Y. P. Trivedi National Tax Moot Court Competition, 2019. The Moot Proposition dealt with core of Benami Law along inter-twined with aspects of Indian Income Tax Law. It was an humbling experience to hear the assertive contentions of bright legal minds, cross-question them and subsequently score them on various parameters such as knowledge and application of relevant law; interpretation and use of facts; ingenuity and ability to answer questions; organisation and flow of arguments; style, poise, courtesy and demeanour.
